Food means so much to Spanish especially when it comes to meal times with the family. They are so accommodating and food is cooked from the heart ❤️
🌟Starting in Girona for tapas in Plaça de la independencia, lively place where every gathers at all times of the day.
Quick stop to say hello to the incredible Joan Roca @cellercanroca 3 Michelin star world’s best restaurant and honoured to have a kitchen tour. Next time I’ll dine but need to plan ahead with their 12 month waiting list!
🌟Following to Barcelona El Nacional, I’ve been here a few times over the years and never disappoints with multiple restaurants set in an incredible indoor space.
🌟Valencia back streets near the El Mercat, Secreto Iberico pork was in the menu and this is must if you ever see it you have to order it and Pulpo with paprika & olive oil 😋 This had to be one of our favourite stops.
🌟Home of the Paella in El Palmer a small town just south of Valencia where the famous dish was invented. Coach loads of tourist come to this tiny town in the middle of nowhere every day to experience the best paella in the world. I also tried the local eel stew - not for everyone.
🌟One of the highlights of the trip was to our friends place in Marbella @cascadamarbella and what an incredible meal this was, truly memorable in the most amazing setting.
🌟Last was a real classic in Seville(also big in Cadiz), fresh local fish just simply fried in a light crisp batter which is eaten simply sharing with friends over a beer in the sun.
Even though we cook privately, it’s also really important to support local restaurants and food establishments after all this is how we all learnt.
We are more than just a private chef service, follow us for food tips and culinary exploring. We are happy to give out local recommendations and any information.
